There are many ways you can create a legacy with BirdLife International.​

By including Birdlife International in your Will or Trust you can help protect the future for birds and nature everywhere. Leaving a gift through your Will or Trust is simple and flexible. Your legal advisor can easily add or update a provision whenever you make or revise your Will.

Making a gift to BirdLife International in your Will or Trust allows you to:

• retain control of your assets during your lifetime
• secure how your assets will be distributed after your lifetime
• modify your gift if circumstances change at anytime
• p​rovide possible tax savings or help reduce the tax burden for your heirs ​
• honour someone special by creating a gift in their memory​
• make an impact with a gift of any size; every gift is vitally important in achieving BirdLife’s mission.​

To include BirdLife International in your Will or Trust, it’s best to speak with your legal advisor and suggest language similar to the example below: ​

United Kingdom: “To BirdLife International, Registered UK Charity No. 1042125, I hereby give/devise/bequeath the sum of £______ (or _____%) from my estate.” ​

United States: “To Friends of BirdLife International, US Federal Tax ID. 30-0265343, I hereby give/devise/bequeath the sum of $_____ (or _____%) from my estate.”​
